Our Complete Integrated Planning Workshop offers a supportive, empowering, and comprehensive approach to securing your wishes and bringing you peace of mind. This unique workshop blends guided support with self-guided exploration, ensuring your preferences are not only documented but deeply considered and aligned with your values.

*Note: This workshop caters to North Carolina law and residents and is held virtually. If you live elsewhere, please contact me in advance for customization. In-person workshops may be arranged and customized to your group's specific needs.

1. Guided Advance Directives Support:
Practical Instruction: Page-by-page guidance to prepare your Living Will and Healthcare Power of Attorney documents.
Clear Terminology: Demystification of legal jargon with clear definitions of key terms.
Informed Decision-Making: Education to help you make thoughtful choices about life-prolonging treatments, body disposition, and more.
Key Awareness: Information about the Advance Instruction for Mental Health Treatment form and guidance on the importance of establishing a Do-Not-Resuscitate (DNR) order and Medical Orders for Scope of Treatment (MOST) form.
Reference Material: A comprehensive resource for continued reference.

Comfort & Care Planning: Articulate your preferences for physical, emotional, and environmental comforts during end-of-life.
Vigil & Farewell Wishes: Pre-plan the details of your vigil, funeral, memorial, or celebration of life.
Contemplative Reflection: Engage in deeper personal reflection to align choices with your values and desired legacy.
Ethical Will & Legacy Document: Share your life’s wisdom, stories, and messages of love with family and friends, ensuring your values and personal history are preserved and passed on.
Financial Peace of Mind: Gain a foundational understanding of key financial considerations, including Wills, Trusts, and the Probate process.
This workshop is designed for a blend of independent study and interactive sessions to maximize your learning and comfort.
Phase 1: Registration & Preparation
Registration Deadline: Registration will close 8-10 days before the workshop day. This allows ample time for you to receive and begin reviewing your self-guided materials.
Materials Dispersal: You will receive access to all self-guided materials, including The Emergency and End-of-Life Planner and five comprehensive booklets (Comfort & Care Planning, Vigil & Farewell Wishes, Contemplative Reflection, Ethical Will & Legacy Document and Financial Peace of Mind), prior to our overview meeting.
Phase 2: Overview & Independent Contemplation
Overview Meeting (2 hours): Held approximately 7-8 days before the workshop day.
This session will be an opportunity to:
Review the self-guided materials and answer any initial questions you may have.
Provide guidance on how to best utilize the contemplative practices in the coming week.
Set the stage for the live workshop.
Connect with your fellow workshop participants.
Independent Contemplative Practice: You'll have approximately one week to engage with the self-guided materials, to begin your personal exploration.
Phase 3: In-Person (Virtual) Deep Dive & Documentation
Workshop Day:
Morning Session (3.5 hours; 9:00am-12:30pm): We'll begin by exploring our personal definitions of quality of life, which will guide our work together. Then, we'll dive into preparing your Living Will and Healthcare Power of Attorney documents, working page-by-page. We'll clarify terminology and discuss important considerations for life-prolonging treatments and body disposition. You'll receive direct, comprehensive support in finalizing these critical documents.
Lunch Break (1 hour)
Afternoon Session (3.5 hours; 1:30pm-5:00pm): We'll continue our exploration of advance directives by raising awareness about the Advance Instruction for Mental Health Treatment form, DNR, and MOST forms. We'll also emphasize the importance of discussing your wishes with your loved ones and medical professionals, and how to best handle the storage and distribution of your advance directive documents. Our remaining time together will be dedicated to answering any questions you have and an open discussion of insights gained while completing your self-guided exploration or your advance directives.
Phase 4: Document Witnessing and Notarization
It's essential that you follow through to ensure your documents are legal and effective by completing your witnessing and notarizing steps. We will provide clear guidance on how to complete this crucial final step independently.
Phase 5: Optional Ongoing Support
While aspects of this package are designed for self-guided exploration, you are never alone. Should you desire to be guided through any of the self-exploration content, require more in-depth, direct help with follow-through, or need assistance with any specific aspect, please reach out anytime. Our mission is to provide personalized support tailored to your evolving needs, ensuring you feel completely confident and at peace with your comprehensive plan.

We are committed to making this workshop accessible, reflecting diverse financial situations while ensuring the sustainability of these offerings. Our pricing operates on a sliding scale. Please review the scales below and choose the tier that genuinely reflects your financial capacity. Your honest assessment helps us continue to offer these programs.
The Accessible Tier is for those with limited expendable income or facing financial hardship.
The Standard Tier covers the true cost of delivering the workshop. If you have stable income and some financial flexibility, please consider contributing at this level.
The Sustainable Tier allows us to offer subsidized participation and expand our outreach. It's a pay-it-forward option that makes our programs truly inclusive.
Accessible Tier: $250 - $350
Standard Tier: $350 - $450
Sustainable Tier: $450 - $550
Your selected reciprocity includes all self-guided materials, a 2 hour introductory meeting, an 8 hour workshop, and a copy of the presentation. A recording of the virtual meetings will also be provided.
